Tuition & booster booking terms

Booking, payment, changes, cancellations and safe participation.

Version 1.0 · Effective 13 October 2026 · Review by 13 October 2027

Who you are booking with

Your tuition provider is SFK Education Limited, company number 17179223, registered in England and Wales at 124–128 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. Contact enquiries@sfkeducation.com. These terms cover our Saturday tuition and GCSE revision/mock booster sessions.

Bookings are made by a parent/carer aged 18 or over with authority to book for the student. The activity description, selected dates, agreed price and booking confirmation form part of your booking. These terms apply to new bookings where supplied before the contract is made; publishing them does not retrospectively change an existing agreement.

Choosing and confirming your place

Use the linked Pebble activity page to select the correct student, year group, subject, tier, date and time. Choose one class per time slot. Where the same English lesson is offered twice, choose one slot only. For multi-day boosters, select each subject/date separately; quantity three on a single session does not book three different days.

A place is confirmed when we or Pebble issue a booking confirmation following payment or an accepted payment arrangement. An enquiry or uncompleted basket does not reserve a place. Contact us promptly if the confirmation is incorrect. We will explain any genuine pricing error and agree a correction or cancellation; we will not automatically charge an increased amount without agreement.

Prices, discounts and payment

The activity page and checkout show the dates and total price for the selected booking, including any applicable taxes and disclosed charges. Saturday tuition and two-hour boosters have different prices: check the session duration and total before paying. Joining partway through a term is subject to available places and the remaining sessions offered.

Use an advertised discount only for the eligible booking and follow its stated conditions. Saturday multi-class offers do not automatically apply to boosters. Enter the appropriate code before confirming payment. A cash-payment option or code records a payment arrangement; it does not mean the tuition is free. Any outstanding amount remains payable under the agreed arrangement.

Your cancellation rights

For tuition service contracts made online or at a distance, you normally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. To cancel, send a clear statement to enquiries@sfkeducation.com or write to our registered office, giving your name and booking reference. You can use the wording below but do not have to use a particular form.

“I give notice that I cancel my tuition booking. Booking reference: … Date booked: … Parent/carer name: … Contact address/email: … Date: …”

If you want sessions to begin within the cancellation period, we must obtain your express request. If you then cancel within that period, we may charge a proportionate amount for services already supplied only where the legal requirements for that charge have been met. The cancellation right is lost after the service is fully performed only where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence. Merely accepting these terms does not itself provide that separate request.

Where a statutory cancellation refund is due, we repay it within 14 days of being informed of your cancellation, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee. These terms do not shorten any cancellation period extended by law or remove any other consumer remedy.

Other cancellation and change requests

Outside any statutory cancellation right, contact us as soon as possible about cancelling or changing your booking. We assess requests individually, taking account of notice, services already provided, reasonable unrecoverable costs and whether the place can be filled. Any amount retained must reflect a fair, evidenced loss after costs saved and replacement bookings are considered, and cannot exceed the booking price. We explain our decision; a transfer or credit is subject to agreement and availability.

If SFK cancels a session, you will receive a refund for the affected session and any directly related paid extras. We may offer a replacement or credit, but you do not have to accept it instead. We will notify you promptly of material changes; if a significant change is unsuitable, contact us to cancel the affected part for a refund. Minor reasonable changes, such as a suitably qualified substitute tutor, may be needed.

Student needs and safe participation

Provide accurate emergency contacts and tell us about medical, allergy, access or support needs relevant to safe participation. Discuss adjustments with us; a diagnosis or disability is not an automatic reason for refusal. Please keep this information current and arrange any medication support in advance.

Students must follow reasonable safety instructions, respect others and remain in designated areas during lessons and supervised breaks. Bring the learning materials listed for the activity. Our behaviour, anti-bullying and inclusion policies explain support and proportionate responses. A serious risk may require early collection or a reviewed restriction; we consider reasonable adjustments and explain decisions. This does not create an automatic forfeiture of all fees.

Arrival, departure and communication

Check the venue and times in your confirmation and arrive and collect punctually. Provide authorised collection details. Independent departure requires prior agreement with the parent/carer and SFK; without it, use the agreed collection process. Tell the session lead promptly about delays or changes. Supervision outside the advertised session and agreed break arrangements must be agreed in advance.

Important service messages may be sent using the contact details supplied at booking. Marketing and permission to use a student’s photograph are separate choices, not conditions of accepting these terms.

Our responsibility and resolving problems

We provide tuition with reasonable care and skill. Learning outcomes depend on individual circumstances; we do not guarantee a particular grade or exam result. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If the service does not meet the contract, your legal rights may include repeat performance or a price reduction. Raise concerns under our complaints policy. English law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections or your right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you by law.
